Mexican pitchers Marco Estrada and Óliver Pérez have already made their contractual situation for this year in the Major Leagues.
According to several reports from journalists in the US, Estrada signed with the Oakland Athletics for one year and 4 million dollars, while Perez did it for one year and 2.5 million dollars.
Estrada’s report was made by Jeff Passan via espn.com.
The 35-year-old right-hander closed a three-season cycle with the Toronto Blue Jays, last year he had a 7-14 record and a 5.64 ERA.
Estrada, who had his best performance in 2015 with 13-8 and overall records 62-66 in 11 years in Major Leagues, he’s going to be teammates with Joakim Soria with the Athletics.
ÓLIVER STAYS IN CLEVELAND
Paul Hoynes, a reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reported today that Óliver Pérez’s contract is for one year guaranteed and 2.75 million dollars.
The culichi will play his 17th season in the majors tying the record for a Mexican held by Fernando Valenzuela, Aurelio Rodriguez and Juan Gabriel Castro.
